Production

Based on data from 10 key members, total capacity is 12,000 tons annually with a total output of 1,000 tons per month. Warehouse capacity is approximately 100 tons per company. This indicates a strong demand for Myanmar teas and an impressive potential to expand production facilities to accommodate increased demand in the future.

Processing

Although a number of companies also still process according to traditional methods, our members also use a variety of processing techniques and modern equipment including: Washing machines, mixing machines, packaging machines, cutting machines, retort machines, dryer machines, oxidation machines, rolling machines, solar domes, tea block machines, wave green machines, roasting machine, cabinet dryers, solar dryer and vacuum sealers.
