The members of Myanmar tea producer and exporters’ association (MTA) attended BIOFACH exhibition which was held at Germany for four days from 14 -17 February, 2018. Myanmar tea companies namely Power Maw Shan Co., Ltd.; Yathar Wathi Co., Ltd.; National International Commercial Enterprise Co., Ltd.; Shwe Taung Koe Lone Brothers Co., Ltd.; Immoral Monarch Co., Ltd. and Shwe Pan Law Manufacturing Co., Ltd. joined BIOFACH exhibition as exhibitors and displayed Myanmar tea products; fermented tea, green tea and old tree tea. These companies have already received national organic certificates and GIZ mainly helped all these companies to attend this BIOFACH exhibition. This is very first organic exhibition which MTA organized Myanmar tea companies to exhibit Myanmar tea products.
With the help of Helvetas Myanmar organization, MTA organized Myanmar tea companies to exhibit Myanmar tea products at the BIOFACH and Natural South East Asia Trade show, Bangkok, Thailand which was held from July 11 to July 14, 2019. Shwin Chang Lone Co., Ltd.; Palaung Hteik Htar Co., Ltd.; Taw Win Kanbawza Co., Ltd.; Power Maw Shan Co., Ltd.; Yathar Wathi Co., Ltd.; National International Commercial Enterprise Co., Ltd.; Shwe Taung Koe Lone brothers Co., Ltd.; Immortal Monarch Co., Ltd. and U Kar Ka Co., Ltd; joined as exhibitors while other tea companies and enterprises joined as visitors.
